Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Hearts.
We are reaching out during an incredibly difficult time. Last night while we saw in the New Year, Manchester experienced horrendous rain and devastating flooding that has left many reeling, including our daughter and flat mates whose home was among those severely affected.
They have lost everything they held dear — clothes, shoes, vinyl, books guitars, piano, treasured memories, and the sense of security that comes with having a safe place to call home. Whilst possessions can be replaced they sadly were not insured. What’s worse is they are now homeless.
The recovery process will be long, but with your help, we hope to help them rebuild their lives and find a sense of normalcy once again. Every penny contributed, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping them regain their footing.
We are grateful for any assistance you can provide, whether it's financial support or simply sharing our story with others. Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this challenging time.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Caitlin (on behalf of Meena, Nathan and Jack)
