On 03.22.26 around 4:30pm, a devastating fire swept through a five-unit apartment building, leaving five families—including my cousin Lisa, her mom, and our close family friend Kim—without homes or belongings. While everyone was fortunate enough to escape with their lives, the heartbreak of losing a beloved pet and everything they owned has been overwhelming. All of those affected are older adults, and the sudden loss has left them facing an uncertain future.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward helping these neighbors and loved ones secure new housing, replace clothing, purchase food, and cover other essential needs as they begin to rebuild.
