My home burnt down with everything I owned In The Wildfire
Donation protected
4 days ago at 4:30 AM, my life changed forever.
I woke to the terrifying sight of flames in my backyard, with smoke and ash filling the air. In the chaos, I grabbed my dogs, alerted my roommates to save the cats, and we evacuated as quickly as possible. Driving out through thick black ash and flames, I prayed for safety.
In the aftermath of this wildfire, I lost thousands of dollars worth of equipment, belongings, and the home I was staying in—all reduced to ashes. Everything is gone: my clothes, personal items, camera equipment, and even basic essentials like a toothbrush.
This tragedy has also deeply affected my work. I am a filmmaker/producer and creative professional who relies on my camera equipments and tools to support myself. Losing these vital resources has left me unable to continue working on my projects and earning an income, adding another layer of uncertainty to an already overwhelming situation.
Tragically, the fire also claimed the life of a dear neighbor, James. My thoughts and prayers remain with his family and friends. The devastation in our community is heartbreaking—homes, schools, churches, and businesses in Altadena are gone.
Through it all, I am deeply grateful to be alive and to have my dogs safe with me. For now, I am staying in a temporary location, but the road to recovery will be long and costly.
I humbly ask for your help to rebuild my life, replace essential items, and regain the tools I need to get back to work and find stability again. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in helping me move forward.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
