The Dome Will Rise! (With Your Help)

The winds came hard this year, and they took down one of Burning Man's most beloved landmarks: our Dome (yes we know, it was a series of interconnected car ports but hey, radical self expression right ;)

That meant no cool, air-conditioned oasis. No lessons in enthusiastic consent. No wild, tender, sweaty, joyous gathering of humans of every gender, body, ethnicity, ability, and story.

But if you know anything about this city, it’s this: we rebuild. We rise. We gift again.

This is your chance to help spark the rebirth of a staple of Black Rock City—a stronger, future-proof, weather-resilient Dome ready to welcome thousands for years to come.

We’ve been offered a rare opportunity to purchase a used 50’ Geodesic Dome from another camp. It needs a little love, but honestly… so do we.

What we are spending the money on:

• 50’ Geodesic Dome (Main Playspace) – $25,000

• 50’ Circus Tent (First Base Waiting Area / Workshops) – $5,500

• 30’ Circus Tent (Orientation and Consent Space) – $3,000

• Weatherproofing & Sound Engineering (interconnecting structures, flooring, ...) – $5,000

• Additional funds will be redirected to the repair and replacement of the shade structures for our volunteers – $5,000

Our camp is 100% volunteer run and a 501(c)3 nonprofit (so your donation could be tax deductible). All funds will go toward replacing damaged gear and upgrading old equipment!

By supporting us, you’re also contributing to vital conservation efforts to protect the wild Asian elephant from extinction. We will be purchasing our dome from an organization dedicated to combating habitat loss and preserving this endangered species
