Help Rebuild a Life

Hey guys, I'm so happy to be back amongst family and friends. All the people that have reached out on Facebook, talk about a warm welcome home. Everyone has made me feel missed, and I can't express how much it helps with getting back on my feet.

For all the people that don't know, the last 10 years or so have been tough, to say the least. From being homeless and living on the streets to missing out on being around to see all of your families grow. To the beautiful and proud parents you've all become, for that, I am truly sorry. Most of you know that I believe that becoming a parent is a wonderful thing, but to be a good parent means to be involved and loving. To which I can say without a doubt that y'all very much love to be involved. It's not as easy as y'all make it look. Especially our generation. Being part of a community is key. Moreover, if it's the town you grew up in. Being back isn't just me returning to the town I grew up in. It's coming back home. My home. I suppose I never appreciated the kindness, the extending of hands when you need help. The simplicity of how doing something as small as giving someone you may not know a "Hello" or going out of your way to drive to your favorite fast food spot and handing the guy at the window a handful of flowers and asking him to give one to each female employee. In hopes it will brighten their day. I was working at KFC at age 16 and I was the guy at the window. This was an older gentleman who drove up. How that stuck with me. It may be hard to imagine how this one act can affect a person in a very big way. In my most lost moments, when I felt the world's crushing cruelty, throwing my hands up and giving up all hope in trying to see the good in people, I would remind myself of that day at KFC and how it's not in trying to find the good in people but allowing the good in yourself to be enough to get you through it. Being back home means just that. Being home. However, I'm starting from scratch. I lost my ID, driver's license, birth certificate, and social security card. I am reaching out to my hometown in hopes that it may help get back on my feet. I'm in the process of getting my license but it seems I had 2 unpaid tickets from a few years back that have a hold on it. Totaling in the amount of $427.00. I'm asking for any help with taking care of those tickets. I will provide the website where to make a payment. So you wouldn't be sending me the money directly. If I can do this, with y'all's help, I will have my first stepping stone into rebuild my life. I want to say I'm happy to be back home with people that care about the quality of life you live. Wholesome and healthy.
