Hello family and friends,

I don’t often ask for help, but I feel compelled to in this situation. Due to unexpected family circumstances, my nail technician—who is a single mother of a high schooler—has lost nearly all of her belongings. Clothing, shoes, furniture, kitchenware, household essentials… EVERYTHING is gone!

She and her daughter are currently staying with a close friend until they can move into a new place next week.

Coming to the U.S. from Cuba just 8 years ago with nothing but the clothes on her back, she has worked hard to build a new life. She quickly earned her nail technician certification and has been dedicated to the same salon ever since. She is incredibly skilled—so much so that her appointments are booked weeks in advance—yet she continues to work 6 days a week, often 12 hours a day, to provide for her daughter both materially and emotionally.

But now, despite all her hard work and sacrifice, she is faced with the overwhelming task of replacing everything she owns. She is essentially starting over again, just as she did when she first arrived from Cuba.

Please help me support her as she rebuilds her home and regains stability. Your generosity means more than you know.
