Hi friends and community- This past Saturday, Jan. 13th a terrible snow and ice storm in Oregon struck our community quite hard. The tree damage in the Lake Oswego area led to a state of emergency destroying gas lines, water pipes, and electrical lines leaving the majority of residents without power.

A dear friend and fellow yogi, at Imagine Yoga Studio, Rebbecca lost her home when a 200 ft Douglas fir crashed thru the second and first stories. We’re grateful that Rebbecca, her husband, Jaidev, their dog, Biggie, and their cats, Tommy and Suzie, were able to make it out uninjured. There is extensive damage to the home, as well, they did lose their fish and many belongings. They now not only have to find a new place to live but they also have to rebuild their lives from the ground up.

If you can spare anything to help this amazing person and her family, I would very much appreciate it. They will need funds to secure temporary housing, care for pets and replace essential belongings.
