Rease’s Workshop was never about selling controllers. It was an outlet for me to use my love of controllers to support those around me.
Unfortunately me laser cutter caught fire, taking many of my tools and materials with it. And without the funds to replace it all, I’ve been forced to shut down Reases Workshop for now.
From the start, I’ve always loved fixing people’s controllers and designing custom ones. From Game Cube Controllers to Resin buttons to ProCons and now to box controllers, I’ve always been excited to build new things for the players around me!
When a Korean player’s keyboard controller no longer worked due to the Switch 2 releasing, I built him a brand new one, completely free because I knew how much it meant for him to keep competing. That’s what Rease’s Workshop has always been about and I’ve loved every second of it!
I build custom box controllers to help players keep competing, especially those dealing with hand pain. But beyond that, I just love creating controllers whether it’s unique projects like the custom guitar controller or pushing new ideas in esports hardware.
Reases Workshop recently started in a new direction, helping sponsor Smash events at OSU and around Columbus. I’ve also had the pleasure of getting to design trophies and pr rewards for people in my region!
Being part of this community has meant everything to me, and I’ve always strived to give back to the people that have always taken such good care of me.
Reases Workshop isn’t just a business, it’s something I genuinely care about and love putting my all into. And I want to keep it alive if I can!
I was so happy seeing so many people reach out, and willing to help me afford new tools and a new laser so my friends helped me make a go fund me!
I want to continue RW and rebuild so I can go back to building the controllers I love designing so much!
