Hello, my name is Merissa, but I go by Rissa. I am making this GoFundMe for Rayne Brady and George Rigby.

On June 2, 2026, at 7:40 at night, Rayne had to make a phone call that nobody wants to have to make. Their house was on fire... Rayne and George gathered all three of their children, Persephone, age 7, Aro, age 5, and Rowan, age 3, and had to vacate the house immediately.

It started as a normal evening of doing dinner and getting the kiddos calmed down and ready for bed.

Then it turned into, "DON'T PANIC, get EVERYONE OUT, and remain calm in front of my kiddos, as I don't want to scare my littles and create more chaos and fear, so I stayed as calm as I could," Rayne told me.

When I (Rissa) got to the family about 8:05, I realized that Rayne didn't have any shoes on, so I ran home and got her some flip-flops. Our wonderful community came together even last night and was bringing down clothes and other things for the family.

Rayne is the one who works outside the home while George is the one who stays home and takes care of the littles, which is a job in itself.

As of last night, they had a place to stay as well as tonight, but the future is unknown for this family right now.

This GoFundMe will go directly to Rayne and George finding a new place to call home or even short-term rentals, not to mention the financial strain that is unfortunately coming their way...

Not only did they lose their home, but they also lost everything in between, including cars, clothes, hygiene products, toys—literally everything.

I will also be creating a meal-train for the family, as well as a amazon wish list!!
