My name is Ray, and I am asking for help for my father, Felipe, and me during one of the most difficult times of our lives.

A short time ago, my father became critically ill. His condition was so severe that he was given his last rites, and we were told to prepare for the possibility that he would not survive. I was devastated and couldn't imagine life without him.

Despite the odds, my father made a remarkable recovery. I spent countless hours caring for him, advocating for him, and staying by his side every step of the way. I love my father deeply and would do anything for him. Watching him fight his way back has been nothing short of a miracle, and I am incredibly grateful that he is still here with me today.

Unfortunately, the financial burden of this crisis has left us in a difficult position. We had no way of anticipating such a life-changing event and did not have savings set aside for the expenses that followed, including relocating to a more affordable living space with one month's preparation time.

We are now trying to secure stable housing and need help raising $2,000 to cover essential costs, including the first month's rent, security deposits, utility deposits, and pet deposits. These are necessities that will help us move forward and create a safe, stable place to call home.

The emotional and financial stress of this experience has also taken a toll on my mental and physical health. Even so, I remain focused on helping my father and rebuilding our lives together.
