Story of Rawan and Her Family

My name is Rawan, I am 17 years old, and since I was a child, I have never known real safety.

On October 7, 2023, our lives were completely destroyed. Our home — the only shelter we had — was bombed and reduced to rubble before our eyes. We lost everything in just moments.

Since that day, my family and I have been living a life of unimaginable suffering:

We sleep in unsafe places, with no roof over our heads.

We lack the most basic needs: food, clean water, and medicine.

We have endured long days of hunger and starvation, struggling just to survive.

I once dreamed of going to university to study law and defend the oppressed. But the war has stolen my dream, my childhood, and my youth.

Today, we are a homeless family in desperate need of help. Any support you can give — no matter how small — will help us buy food, medicine, and hopefully find a safe place to live.
