Help Raven's Father Find a Safe Home

Hi, my name is Raven S., and I’m humbly asking for your help during a difficult time.

My father is a senior living on a fixed Social Security income. A few years ago, he suffered a heart attack, and while he's been able to recover, his health remains fragile. He’s currently living in a home that was generously offered by a close family friend—but due to unforeseen circumstances, that friend now needs to sell the property to care for her own father, and my dad will soon have nowhere to go.

I work hard to support us both, but I’m part of a low-income household and simply don’t have the means to cover a new living situation on my own. We’re trying to find a safe, stable, and affordable place where my father can live comfortably and continue to recover his health—but moving costs, deposits, and other housing expenses are far beyond what we can manage alone.

The funds will help us find a place, whether it be used for a down-payment on a home of our own, or even just being able to afford moving to an apartment which would pay for the first and last rent. With our current situation, we don't meet enough to pay for everything at once, especially now in this economic situation with a hard to grasp housing market for California.
