Help Raul's Children Through This Tragedy

Tragic Loss at Yakima Skate Park

On Monday night during the 7 o’clock hour, tragedy struck at the skate park on 40th in Yakima. Raul, a father, was senselessly shot while trying to break up a fight—because children, including his own, were present. He stepped in to protect others, and in doing so, paid the ultimate price.

Emergency responders arrived quickly and performed CPR for an extended period, but heartbreakingly, their efforts were unsuccessful.

Raul leaves behind three young sons and step-children whom he loved.

This GoFundMe is being organised to help cover the unexpected funeral expenses and provide immediate support for Raul’s children. Any contribution, no matter how small, is deeply appreciated. Additional funds will go towards counselling, long-term care, and for the future that these boys must now face without their father.

From Yakima Police Department-YAKIMA COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE LOCATED THE SUSPECT NEAR THE AREA OF THE PARK. THE SUSPECT IN THIS INCIDENT IS A

22-YEAR-OLD MALE FROM YAKIMA. HE WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY AND LATER BOOKED FOR MURDER IN THE 2ND DEGREE.

Trágica pérdida en el parque de patinaje de Yakima

El lunes por la noche, a las 7:00 p. m., una tragedia azotó el parque de patinaje de la calle 40 en Yakima. Raúl, padre, recibió un disparo sin sentido mientras intentaba detener una pelea, ya que había niños, incluyendo los suyos, presentes. Intervino para proteger a los demás y, al hacerlo, pagó el precio más alto.

Los servicios de emergencia llegaron rápidamente y le practicaron CRP durante un largo periodo, pero, lamentablemente, sus esfuerzos fueron infructuosos.

Raúl deja tres hijos pequeños e hijastros a quienes amaba.

El Departamento de Policía de Yakima - OFICINA DEL SHERIFF DEL CONDADO DE YAKIMA LOCALIZÓ AL SOSPECHOSO CERCA DEL PARQUE. EL SOSPECHOSO DE ESTE INCIDENTE ES UN HOMBRE DE 22 AÑOS DE YAKIMA. FUE DETENIDO Y POSTERIORMENTE FISCADO POR ASESINATO EN SEGUNDO GRADO.
