Help Raul Benavides Rebuild His Life

Hello!! My name is Sara Thompson and I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my cousin Raul Benavides.

Raul has faced extraordinary challenges throughout his life. As the product of a broken home, he endured the immense pain of a drug-addicted mother and an abusive stepfather. Without dependable parental guidance, Raul fell into the wrong crowd and struggled financially. A few wrong decisions later, and he ended up in jail, where he has spent the last year. While in jail, he had an encounter with Christ and has since committed to changing his life for the better. Raul has demonstrated remarkable resilience and strength of character while incarcerated, but now he needs our help as he prepares to integrate back into society.

Raul has been diligently planning for his life post-incarceration, but he needs financial support. My family is helping him secure housing and a car, but this will not come cheap. Any money donated would go towards helping him pay for a car so he can start his life again. I have been taking care of his 2 Siberian Huskies (Yoda and Iris), and he will also need funds so he can resume taking care of his furry friends.

Raul is a loyal and supportive friend. He is always there to lend a helping hand and offers a listening ear to those in need. His compassionate nature is evident in his interactions with others.
