Help Raquel and her Family
Donation protected
Many of you may know my cousin Tania Sanches and her beautiful family. To those who don’t know who her and her family are, they are truly amazing people who are willing to go way and beyond for anyone to help in any way that they can. Tania and Sergio have 2 beautiful daughters Hailey who is 5 and baby Raquel who is 9 months. Her girls mean the world to them!
This is their story....
So a week ago Baby Raquel had a eye infection and cough congestion which the doctor prescribed Antibiotics. Tania was giving her medication as prescribed. Everything was looking good until Sunday night when Baby Raquel was asleep and woke up crying and Tania noticed the baby wasn’t breathing right. Tania immediately took baby Raquel to the hospital and the doctors immediately put her on oxygen. Doctors thought that it helped until the nurse called the doctor to go back in and check her, he noticed the baby’s skin color had changed. He then decided to intubate the baby. Which made her heart rate drop and her blood pressure. The doctor immediately seen the heart rate really low and began CPR for 23 minutes and gave the baby 6 shots of epinephrine. After she was stable Baby Raquel was airlifted to Children’s medical center in Dallas and doctors started to run test and bloodwork also a CT scan was done. Baby is on the ventilator to help her breathe and is sedated to make her feel comfortable. By Monday at 11 am Doctors told Tania the baby has a brain injury but do not know the severity of the injury until an MRI is done. As of now there has not been a big change we will definitely keep everyone posted. Tania and Sergio are having to be off of work to be able to stay with their baby which means no income is coming in. Any donation you can give to help Tania and her family in this difficult situation would be greatly appreciated..All donations will be utilized for bills, gas, meals and hospital expenses.
Even if you cannot donate we just ask for you to please keep this family in your prayers especially for Baby Raquel!
Thanks for everyone who has texted and called.
