God’s Loving Hands Feeding the Homeless Inc. has been serving our community since 2012. Over the years, we’ve provided emergency charitable services to more than 7,000 people in need — from boxed food deliveries to transportation assistance that reunites families.

Today, we are reaching out with a heartfelt plea for a family of five who urgently needs our help.

Ramona, a devoted grandmother, has taken in her grandchildren (ages 7 to 2) while their parents face difficult challenges. Despite her own battle with stage 5 cancer, Ramona continues to care for these little ones with love and strength. But her situation has become overwhelming:

$956 behind on her light bill

$453 behind on her water bill

$6,500 in rent arrears (3 months)

Her stove is broken, leaving her unable to cook proper meals for the children

Her landlord has shown compassion, giving her time because she has always been responsible with her payments. Yet with her savings completely depleted, Ramona cannot catch up without help.

This is a critical moment. With Thanksgiving approaching, we want to provide her with a working stove so she can prepare meals for her grandchildren, and we hope to relieve the crushing burden of overdue bills so this family can regain stability.

Ramona has given everything she has to care for her grandchildren while fighting for her own life. Now, it’s our turn to give back.
