"In one night, the place we called home — six floors filled with laughter, memories, and dreams — was turned into rubble.”
My name is Rami, I’m 47 years old, a husband, a father of five beautiful daughters, and a teacher.
Before the war, our life was simple but full of love. I taught my students with pride, and my wife — also a teacher — helped provide for our family. But when the war came, everything changed.
Our home — six floors high — was completely destroyed in the bombing.
We were displaced from our home in Gaza to Rafah, living in constant fear and under heavy bombardment.
My little daughter suffered a brain hemorrhage due to the attacks.
My wife had to leave Gaza with her and two of our younger daughters for urgent treatment abroad.
I remained in Gaza with my two eldest girls, enduring displacement, hunger, and danger.
Here in Gaza, life is unbearable.
There is no safe place, only tents and ruins.
There is no food or clean water — prices are beyond imagination.
I have heart disease and high blood pressure, yet I can’t even buy my own medicines.
My daughters cry from hunger, and I have nothing to give them.
To make matters worse:
I am a teacher, but schools are destroyed and salaries are gone.
My wife was also a teacher, but since she had to leave for our daughter’s treatment, her salary from UNRWA has been cut.
We have no income at all.
Every day I wake up wondering if this will be the day I lose one of my girls — to hunger, illness, or the bombs.
I write this to you not as a man who wants sympathy, but as a father begging for the chance to keep his family alive.
Your support can help us:
Cover urgent medical care for my daughter abroad.
Provide food, clean water, and medicine for my daughters in Gaza.
Secure safe shelter for my family in displacement.
Give us a chance to rebuild even a small part of our life.
Every dollar you give is not just money — it’s hope.
It’s the meal my daughters desperately need.
It’s the medicine that keeps my heart beating.
It’s the chance to tell my girls, "We will survive this."
Please donate, share, and stand with us in our darkest hour.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being our light in this endless night.
