Hi Everyone,
As most of our family and friends know, my dad was diagnosed with cancer again last fall which is the reason I moved to Colorado to be closer to him and offer any kind of support. In the course of this time, we have found that my dad was given 1-2 years to live by his doctors. While we use these moments to soak up the pieces of joy we might have left with him here, my dad is filled with fear of the future for my baby sisters. The girls are 6 and 8 my dads only concern is that they be taken care of once he is gone. Only if you are able to, we are asking for donations in any amount to make sure my sisters get to go to college, have an emergency fund, and hopefully we can help them to pay off their mortgage as much as we can in case my dad is no longer able to help. My dad and step mother would never ask, but if you’ve ever seen the face of cancer you know it’s ugly and scary. It robs futures and present moments and so our family has come together to organize this for them. If you know my father, you know his kids are the most important things to him. My father has been fighting this hard battle for four years and is still working while on chemo even at his weakest to provide everything he can for my sisters while he can. I’d like him to be able to have peace in his heart knowing his girls are taken care of if anything should happen. If you are in a position to help anything would be so gratefully received if not that’s okay to! Please just keep us in your prayers.
Always,
Veronica
