This February and March, 10 members of Windward HQ will form two teams and attempt to walk over 3,172 kms on a virtual walk around Ireland in aid of the Down Syndrome Centre in Swords, Co. Dublin.

The Down Syndrome Centre in Swords is a dedicated clinic that provides support, resources and therapeutic services for individuals with Down Syndrome and their families. It aims to promote inclusion, awareness and understanding of Down Syndrome in the community. The centre offers a variety of services from ; Speech and Language, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy and much more. Their team works closely with families to ensure they receive the guidance and support they need. It's a warm and welcome space where everyone can thrive!

They have been in Swords almost three years and support over 300 families. They do not receive government funding so rely solely on the generosity of our families, fundraising events that we organise, grants and corporate partnerships.
