Help raise funds for Katie and her two Girls

Hi everyone.
This is such a heartbreaking story that I'm struggling to even start writing about it.
I think everyone that knows Katie Moore and would have to describe her in one word would probably say something like "Kind, generous, smiley, happy, helpful" - all around she is a wonderful human being and a great spirit.
But life has dealt her such a difficult hand that I'm in awe about her resilience and strength to carry on and try and move forward.

Going back to August 2022 Katie lost her dad Andy unexpectedly, he was only 48 years young and it left the first big scar on everyone's heart.
And as if that isn't enough soon after, 14 month later, in October 2023 Katie also lost her little sister Tash to a severe case of pancreatitis. She was only 30 years young and past away over night in her sleep. She left behind a beautiful little daughter, 4 year old Olesia. Tash was a single mum and with her gone, Katie and her mother took joined guardianship for Olesia and tried to make this little girl happy whilst trying to overcome this horrible loss. Even now this loss can be felt and seen when Katie talks about her sister. I think this will never be really healed.
Being a single mum herself to a little girl, Katie now had two children to look after, and the loss of her mother and the change in Olesia's life made this very challenging for Katie and her mum, but they did an amazing job in finding a new routine and raising these two girls together.
But all this has changed again in the last month. On the 11th March 2026 Katie lost her mother, Jo. The coroner is still investigating the cause of death and it will still take months to find out what happened.

But here we are now only 4 years from the beginning of this part of Katie's life and she has had to attend 2 funerals and is arranging the 3rd as I'm writing this. Everyone of her close family is gone and she is now all alone with her two little girls, trying her very best to be there for them, to be strong for them and to try and cope with all this pain and sadness that life has thrown at her in such a short space of time.

And this is were we all come in: How much is a funeral these days? I thought maybe 2000 pounds? Surely can't be more than that!
Katie has just shown me the estimate for her mum's cremation and it sits at 4360 pounds at the moment, not including the wake afterwards. To imagine the mental hurt and struggle she has had to deal with but also see the amount of money it costs has completely shocked me. Three times she has had to pay this large sum to send her loved ones off in a respectful way.
There is nothing left now but a stack of bills and the worry that she won't be able to pay everything off.

So I'm asking all of you who have held on and read this till the end to please help her and donate something, anything you can.
Help pay those bills, help get some money together for her and the girls so she won't have to worry all the time and be able to spend more time healing.
She is only 35 years and has had so much put upon her shoulders, every time she has picked herself up and got herself back up and put on a smile for her children and for us all. I work with her and she is always so very kind and thoughtful, never complains or says a bad word about anyone.
Such a kind soul deserves all the help she can get.
