Ballina Fringe Festival is a grassroots voluntary led community organised vibrant celebration of local and national visual arts, music, community engagement and international film. This year's festival takes place between October 2nd and 11th 2026.

Our mission is to provide a platform for local and national creativity in the Ballina area and to be accessible to all. This year we will be hosting Ballina Film Festival as part of this year’s Fringe along with Global kitchen, several music events, an international exhibition of painting, artist residency with TheNCF and local community creative projects aiming to strengthen Ballina as a cultural hub in the Northwest of Ireland.

Fundraising is a constant challenge and every euro raised goes towards the running free community events during the festival so any donation is most welcome.
