Hello world. I'm looking for help for my best friend. She and her boyfriend are expecting a sweet baby boy. He was due on Feb 5th, but is apparently not ready for his grand entrance just yet. She filed everything she needed for requesting her paid maternity leave at work but has been waiting for the approval. Recently, she was informed by HR that she didn't qualify for paid leave,  only job assurance for when she comes back. This came as quite a shock to her. As the main source of income, it will now mean she has no money for rent, utilities, groceries, and the plethora of expenses that come with having a baby. Her PTO is only enough to cover 1.5 weeks, which is not nearly enough time to heal from child birth. Although she is searching for any other options she may have, there is no certainty. I am asking for help on her behalf because anyone who knows her- knows she doesn't like to ask for help. Also, if you know her,  you know she is the sweetest and most giving person around. I hope that this can help give back to her.
