Help fundraise for a mobility scooter for Rahila

Hi beautiful family and friends

Zenia here, Rahila’s youngest daughter.

I am looking to raise some funds for my Mother Rahila Hamid to have her own electric mobility scooter.

For those of you who know Rahila will know that she has struggled with multiple arthritis for the last 30 years but has never let this stop her being a pillar of support for so many people in different communities

Rahila is now semi-retired (we all know she can’t fully retire as she loves her community work). Myself and my siblings would LOVE if she could have an aid that allows her to be more mobile to enjoy the outdoors more, travel longer distances without having to go home and simply not struggle as much.

Rahila wants to continue working in the community but had to leave her job due to her health conditions. A mobility scooter would enable her to keep helping others on a voluntary basis and continue her crucial work with vulnerable people. 

My Mother struggles with so many aspects of her mobility, such as brushing her hair, taking a bath, walking, and much more. Her conditions include: Osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, osteopenia and sciatica. 

A mobility scooter would enable her to still access so many places outside of her home without as much strain on her joints.

Electric mobility scooters are pricey! So myself and my family are hoping to raise enough to buy my mother one, but we need your help.

I know my Mother is really loved by many people and has touched the hearts of so many people so I am hoping people can return some love, however big or small!
