Help Qusay in Gaza feed his family and greater community

My name is Wallis (Canadian in Austria), and I'm organizing this fundraiser for Qusay in Gaza, a young man with a very big heart.

We have gotten to know each other through collaborating online in our fundraising efforts, and his courage, kindness, generosity and integrity have been incredibly moving. Qusi is bravely supporting his extended family and his displaced community in south Gaza by raising funds to secure critical supplies of food, water and medicine in bulk amounts, distributing them to 40-50 families at a time. Limited supplies are available in Gaza, but what's there is being sold at an exorbitant rate. Qusi is doing everything he can to give his community access to life-saving necessities, and by buying in large quantities, he is getting better value for money and helping as many as possible in the process.

He has been doing this work for months and months during the current genocide in Palestine committed by Israel. He has a growing community of supporters on the social media platforms he uses, and we are rallying behind him, as we truly believe in his and his people's right to life, diginity, respect and freedom from oppression. Because Palestinians are not yet able to operate their own fundraisers on this platform, I will be facilitating his campaign from Austria, and will continue to transfer the donations to him as they come in.

Greetings ✋, I am Qusi Talal Abureada from Gaza. I am 21 years old, born in 2003.

I have been displaced many times with my family after fleeing our home in Al-Mawasi Khan Younis, which was heavily bombed. The fear is killing us, day by day. Our home, and our hopes and dreams were destroyed. We are living our worst nightmare.

I am sheltering with my extended family, which consists of my parents, my brothers and sisters, and their children. One of my brothers was killed in the current conflict, and he has 3 children whom my family now care for.

My older brother has 10 children, aged between 2-11 years. We all live together, and we share everything. I'm creating this campaign to support my own family together with the community around me because they are my people. I work to help the families who are starving due to the high cost of living, with prices currently 10-15 times higher than usual.
