Help QFAC be a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization
Quilt For A Child is a program to provide custom, hand made quilts to foster children
living in residential facilities across America.
117 quilts were made in 2020 (our first year) by volunteers and given freely to the foster
children to keep forever. For some of these kids, it's the only possession they have.
-- Here's what Isaiah had to say about getting his quilt, "It's super
warm and it makes my bunk really mine! Thank you!"
-- This is what Daniell (like Danielle without the "e") had to say,
"It's got all my favorite colors. I'll always remember this Christmas! Thank you!"
And if your heart isn't melting yet...
-- This is what Cameron had to say, "It's beautiful! I'm so glad there are people that accept me for who I really am!"
Please help QFAC become a registered non-profit so we can continue to comfort many
more foster children. Quilters can spend upwards of $300 to make a quilt. QFAC needs to be able to provide the quilters with a donation receipt for a tax deductible donation.
QFAC would also like to be able to reach out to large companies for donations of supplies
such as batting, thread, professional quilting, to help take some of the burden/expense off
of the Makers, some of who have made more than one quilt. We can't do that without
the 501(c)3 non-profit status.
Help us reach our goal so we can reach more foster children!
Thank you!
