Help Purchase Picnic Tables for Joseph Floyd Manor
Church of the Holy Communion is partnering with the Friends of Joseph Floyd Manor to raise money to purchase picnic tables for the residents. Our goal of $1,000 will purchase around 4 or 5 tables. Any funds raised beyond the goal will be used to purchase additional tables (they would love to have 10!), or will be donated directly to the Friends of Joseph Floyd Manor.
The Friends of Joseph Floyd Manor is a non-profit group working to provide daily life assistance to the elderly and disabled residents living in the JFM public housing facility. Follow them on Facebook or Instagram for updates or to view their Amazon wishlist. They accept volunteers on-site every Thursday at 10:30 am.
The Church of the Holy Communion is an Episcopal church on the corner of Ashley Avenue and Cannon Street. We worship God by serving our neighbor and respecting the dignity of every human being. Join us for mass on Sundays at 9:15 (masks required) or find out more information here: https://holycomm.org/
