We’ve worn out our table tennis floor due to our success as a club. Please help us replace it so we can continue to grow and nurture the talent we have.
Pudsey Table Tennis Club is a Table Tennis England advanced premier club, based in Leeds since 1970. We serve all ages from 7 to seniors, with around 75 registered members. The club shares its premises with the Pudsey Bowling and Running Clubs and acts as a hub for both sport and social interaction in the local community. We also hire Pudsey Leisure Centre, where we run open 10-table sessions for all standards, from beginners to league players.
The club has recently seen a surge of interest in people wanting to take up the sport and an influx of new members, especially in its junior section. Under the expert tutelage of our volunteer coaching staff, all the juniors – who started as inexperienced beginners – are developing rapidly and have gained Yorkshire representative honours. A few are now highly-ranked England players in their age group.
Pudsey TTC are the backbone of the Leeds league. In terms of the number of teams, we are the biggest club in Leeds:
• 13 teams in Leeds Senior League (a mix of seniors and juniors)
• 2 teams in Bradford Senior League
• 2 junior teams in British Junior Clubs League (U19s)
• 2 cadet teams in British Cadet Clubs League (U15s)
• 1 senior team in Senior British Clubs League
The additional demands of all the extra hours of coaching, practice and match play has worn out the current flooring, and we are looking for funds to replace this with a brand new harder-wearing floor.
Our objective as a club is to develop all players, young and old, and we can’t do that without a floor! Please help contribute if you can.
Thank you.
