We are eternally grateful for everyone who has helped us achieve the the $2000 goal!!! WE NOW HAVE AN ADDITIONAL GOAL! (see below)
Alanu Orphanage is doing well; Brother Mwanja and his team of foster mothers and teachers have selflessly kept the children fed, and clothed, and have given them opportunities to learn and play.
Continuing donations for their care will always be appreciated. These allow Bro. Mwanja to insure that there is food, water, and fuel.
We also have a new goal:
Their next-door neighbor is selling of his land. Bro. Mwanja would like to add it to the compound.
School here is not free. After kindergarten the kids will need to be sent to lower primary school which Alauni would not be able to afford.
However, there are already 2 teachers available for the Alauni kindergarten. Having more land will allow space for a temporary building to use as an extension for the orphanage school.
This would allow the Alauni kids more time for free education before they head off to the local primary school.

Hello!
While I was browsing YouTube, I found a livestream of a small orphanage/school in Uganda. I've been following them for about 8 weeks now, and I'm convinced that this is legitimate. The gentleman who runs the orphanage is Brother Mwanja Sadat, an R.N. He is so gracious when he receives donations of any kind, and he shows exactly what he does with the funds, including following the wishes of the donor.
I have watched this place go from weathered brick walls to smooth, painted walls. They didn't have water or electricity. Several folks independently donated enough to run water and electricity lines. Other donations went to enclosing the playground with added fencing, recreational equipment,a washing machine, and even food.
.Who am I? Annette G. from Maryland. I am soon to be a retired public librarian. I have heard people say that American kids are spoiled. If you meet these little ones by watching a few of their vids, you may want to spoil them just as much.
