Help Provide Safe Storage Space for Emergency Shelter
Donation protected
The Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless is a non-profit organization that has been in public service in Maryland for over 30 years. They serve over 1900 veterans, men, women, and children each year. That includes serving close to 300 children each day and 97% of the people who enter their programs remain stably housed and don’t return to homelessness.
They run and operate the only Emergency Men’s shelter in Montgomery County, serving sometimes close to 300 men nightly. They are currently in need of some furniture items for their lobby (cabinets, cubie holes, etc) so that people in need of shelter can safely receive and store items. What seems like such a small gesture and typical luxury to some, is sometimes non-existent to others.
Please contribute to the improvement of the lobby if you feel so inclined.
You will be recognized for your donation and receive a thank you certificate usable for tax purposes, as MCCH is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization. The largest one in Maryland dedicated to ending homelessness and supplying emergency shelter.
