Help Provide Necessities for Jeremiah's Inn Residents

My name is Luke Shaughnessy I am a student at the College of the Holy Cross, and I am organizing a necessary items drive for Jeremiah's Inn, a halfway house in Worcester MA for men in recovery from addiction and alcoholism. I am a part of the Community Based Learning (CBL) program for my first year seminar, Engaged Spirituality. I visit the house weekly and listen to a group meeting where I listen to the men give testimony and heal. This is a community Leadership Project for my seminar where I need to provide a service for my CBL site. I hope to receive both monetary and item donations for a necessary items drive. All monetary donations will be used to buy items that will then be distributed at Jeremiah's Inn to the residents. If you prefer to donate physical items and are in the Massachusetts area or wish to ship the items you can message me to figure out a method of receiving the donation.

Items that would be purchased or received are:

Toiletries – Soap, body wash, deodorant

Dental hygiene - toothpaste, toothbrushes, floss

Shaving needs- Razors, shave cream

Laundry items- Detergent, baskets, mesh bags

New shower shoes, slippers

New packaged socks & underwear

New twin bedding/pillows

New Towels/face cloths

Any other items that have similar uses or you think the residents would need are also welcome to be donated if you wish to go through the physical item route. These items will all make their lives and comfort just a little bit better, so they can focus more on their recovery! Thank you for your consideration!
