In 2024, at 15 years old I suffered a concussion while playing football, and it was in that moment I realized how lucky I was to wear the Guardian, a piece of protective attire designed to work alongside my helmet. The Guardian saved me from a much more serious injury.

However, as we played other schools, I noticed many schools don’t have access to this extra layer of protection due to funding constraints. It became clear to me that without the proper equipment, young athletes are at risk. That’s when I decided to start a nonprofit organization aimed at providing Guardian protective gear to underprivileged schools.
