My name is Alexandra Smith, and I am a member of BLM Paterson as of 2020. After recently joining the organization in their weekly food distribution, I noticed how many unhoused members of the community were without gloves. It is below freezing weather, and with thin, knitted gloves myself, I was very cold. One thing more unbearable than the cold itself for me, was the fact that others around me had no easy access to gloves in this freezing weather. I would be back inside within a few hours, but what of those who had no shelter?

My goal with this fundraiser is to be able to buy gloves and distribute them weekly with BLM Paterson, to vulnerable members of the community who need it.
