Hello! We are a group of students from Loyola University of Chicago working on behalf of the Jesse Brown Department of Veterans Affairs in Chicago to raise money to collect household items for local homeless veterans ahead of the holiday season.

While we reflect on gratitude this holiday season, the opportunity for us to raise money comes to us as a part of our military experience history class, where beyond understanding history, we are urged to understand the long-standing effects of war on the individuals who have served our nation and support those who are struggling in our community.
