Hello everyone,

My name is Marjiya Mabs. I was born and raised in the Philippines, but I currently live in the United Kingdom. I have just arrived here in the Philippines to celebrate my birthday with my loved ones. While I was looking forward to spending time with my family, the recent earthquake in Cebu reminded me how quickly life can change and how important it is to look out for one another.

Seeing the impact of the earthquake and how many families are struggling to get food and clean water has deeply touched me. It made me realise that the best way to celebrate my birthday is by giving back and helping those in need.

That’s why I’ve decided to start this GoFundMe campaign. All donations will go directly towards providing food, bottled water, and other essentials to people affected by the earthquake.

Even a small contribution can make a big difference to families trying to recover and rebuild their lives. Your kindness and generosity mean so much — not just to me, but to the people here who need our support right now.
