Every time I go back to the Dominican Republic, it reminds me how blessed I really am. The last time I went, I gave out eggs to 120 houses for Thanksgiving. I’ll never forget the faces I saw… a lot of older people, a lot of families who can’t even afford something as simple as a carton of eggs. Some people opened the door with so much hope in their eyes, and when I handed them the eggs… man, it broke me. I walked away crying because I realized how much I have, and how little they’re living with.
I don’t do this for attention. I do it because it’s the right thing. Because I was born there. Because those are my people. Because I know what it feels like to grow up with nothing.
In 2026, I want to go even bigger. My goal is to help 500 houses by giving out plátano and eggs — real food that can feed a family for weeks and weeks, not just one meal. To make that happen, I’m trying to raise $15,000. That covers the food, the transportation, the car, the flight — everything I need to make this happen the right way.
If you can donate, even a little bit, it’ll go a long way. You’re not just giving food… you’re giving someone hope, stability, and the feeling that somebody out there is looking out for them.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. And thank you if you choose to help. It truly means more than you know.
