Growing up near Santa Monica, I see every day how many people in our community are experiencing homelessness. It's easy to walk past someone who is struggling, but I started thinking about what it must feel like to not have access to basic things many of us take for granted. Simple items like socks, toothpaste, or a snack can make a big difference in someone's day.

That is why I started Santa Monica Care Kits. My goal is to create care packages filled with essential supplies for people living on the streets of Santa Monica. Each kit will include hygiene products, small necessities, and helpful items that can bring a little comfort and dignity to someone who needs it.

I created this GoFundMe to raise money to purchase the supplies needed to make these care kits. Every donation will go directly toward buying the items that will be placed inside each kit. Once the supplies are purchased, I will organize and assemble the kits so they can be distributed throughout the Santa Monica community.

This project is about more than giving items. It's about showing compassion and reminding people that they are seen and valued. Inspired by the words of Mother Teresa, who said, “It is not how much we give but how much love we put into giving,” I hope these care kits can spread kindness and hope.
