I am a grad student going on a mission trip to Vietnam Spring 2025 to be part of a integrated team to provide Acupuncture, Chiropractic and Massage to the people in south Vietnam and to explore traditional Vietnamese Medicine (TVM) This trip is organized by Greg and Friends Humanity Foundation in memory of

Greg Scammel, a Vietnam War veteran. Greg was exposed to Agent Orange during the war but continued to serve and help others throughout his service.

I am a 10th trimester student at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and will be completing my Doctorate of Traditional Chinese Medicine in December, 2025. I am asking for support for the expenses for the trip. I am very excited for this trip to learn about the unique practices of Asian Medicine in Vietnam. I have dreamed about this trip since I first matriculated at the school January, 2021.

This mission trip is a humanitarian work along with learning, hands on practice and exploring the beautiful country of Vietnam with its unique and rich history of east Asian culture. We will be visiting the cities of Ho Chi Minh (Saigon), Binh Phuoc, Phan Thiet-Phan Rang, Nha Trang- Khanh hoa and Bao Loc- Lam Dong.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has a rich history of thousands of years in China, Korea, Japan and Vietnam, etc. Each country has its own unique Asian Medicine based on regional, cultural and country regulations. We will be experiencing Traditional Vietnamese Medicine (TVM) culture, harvesting and processing herbs, learning Bio-thread acupuncture, bone-setting, and providing integrated care at various rehab hospitals and facilities. We will also be visiting the Vietnam Victim of Agent Orange facility and exploring the beauty of the tropical country in Nha Trang beaches, Let and Diep Son Island, Van Gia damp, temples, dragon fruit farms.
