Eybar and Isaac are two eighth-grade students from Joe Michell K-8 School in Livermore, California. Every year, 8th graders at our school participate in a community service project where students can group up with classmates and do a project to help and benefit their community. Eybar and Isaac wanted to help their community by providing bikes for younger children. They participate with a foundation called the Kids Bike Lane, which hands out bikes and similar equipment to children on a larger scale. They have had the opportunity to assemble bikes for children at events held in different cities around Livermore.

Eybar and Isaac also hope to raise $1,000 to provide bicycles and helmets to a group of children who walk long distances every morning to get to their school and from school to home. They will benefit from exercising and exploring around town too. Therefore, they think it will mean a lot to them.

We, Eybar and Isaac, hope to get at least enough money to purchase five bikes, which we will gift and personally deliver to these children around town. Any money left will be donated to the Kids Bike Lane, so 100% of the money will go toward putting a smile on a child's face.

We are also asking people to donate used or old bikes that will be taken to the Kids Bike Lane Foundation. Once they receive them, the bikes will be fixed and refurbished, and we as a community will be helping others with it.
