My name is Alyssa Couture. I am not good at asking for help. It is a very humbling experience, and I will appreciate your generosity if you are able to donate money.

I am disabled and experiencing financial hardship. I need help buying my home and land in Colorado. I have heart disease, scoliosis, PTSD, I am a stroke victim with a traumatic brain injury, a torture victim, and I have schizophrenia. I am a victim of crime. I need a safe, isolated home, away from stress and people, so I can recover. The Colorado home will help keep my husband in less danger also.

I have the opportunity to apply for a construction loan. I am applying for a construction loan to place a manufactured home on rural land in Colorado.

I receive less than $12,000 a year from Social Security for my mental disability, and the money I receive from the loan will not be enough to buy a home and put it on land.

I am 40 years old, and this is my dream to have my own home. I have had very bad living experiences. I cannot afford to live in a rural area without a home loan, and I cannot get a home loan over a certain amount because I am very low income.

I am temporarily living at a family member’s house and will be trying to escape living in my car soon, and/or living next to neighbors. I have been in a lot of danger living next to neighbors in my old apartment, which was a project building. I was homeless, living in my car for many years in my 30s, and I was in a lot of danger.

I need to live in my own home and away from people. I am currently living at a family member’s house, but I am in the process of living in my car, and I will have to find emergency housing soon while I live in my car before I get my home loan. I will then have neighbors if I live in a project apartment, and I’ll feel unsafe again.

The construction loan I will get will be around $50,000-$80,000. I need an additional $70,000 to put a small manufactured home on land in Colorado. I will still have to budget for building a land and home for $150,000 and live in a small home and embrace a simple lifestyle.

I need additional money. My expenses are money to buy the manufactured home, delivery and setup of my manufactured and certified home, land lot, a permanent foundation for the manufactured home, house and land permits, driveway, wastewater treatment system, sewer, septic tank, soil tests, land survey, land clearing and grading, utility services, closing costs on my construction loan, etc.
