Help provide aid to Muhannad and his family.

Hello, my name is Joey Kaseta. I am a United States citizen living in Roanoke, Virginia. I met Muhannad through our mutual love for skateboarding. Due to Muhannad’s location and geographical restrictions from GoFundMe, I am helping manage a GoFundMe for Muhannad and his family. All proceeds will go directly to Muhannad and his family.

A message from Muhannad:

Hello,

I'm Muhannad, a 16-year-old Palestinian boy from Gaza City who practices skateboarding. I used to live a simple and beautiful life: I went to school, studied, skateboarded with my friends, went shopping, and did whatever I wanted freely. But on October 7, 2023, everything changed. A war began.

Since the beginning of the war, we have lived endless nightmares. We were displaced from our home to my sister's friend's house. Two weeks later, we returned. Then we were displaced to my grandfather's house, and from there to the Nuseirat area, then to Al-Nasr Hospital, then to Khan Yunis, then to a tent in Rafah. Then we returned from Rafah to Khan Yunis and lived in a tent there as well. I spent more than a year and a half away from home, moving from tent to tent.

In January 2025, I returned to our home, but when I entered northern Gaza, I felt I wasn't in Gaza. I felt like a stranger in my own country. Everything was destroyed in ways that cannot be described.

Despite all of this, we couldn't continue living in the house.

The landlord tripled the rent and evicted us because we couldn't pay.

We went back to living in a tent.

Food prices were rising, people were starving, and there was no cooking gas.

The war forced me to stop studying and skateboard for nearly two years.

I live with my mother (39 years old), my sister (20 years old), and my younger brother (6 years old), who suffers from polycystic kidney disease and an enlarged kidney.

I lived for long periods in tents in Khan Yunis and Rafah, and I also lived in tents in Gaza.

Every day was full of exhaustion, hardship, and a search for safety.

My days became filled with waiting at the charcoal grill, collecting water, temporary jobs, and an inner sense of loss.

My body was dead, but my soul cried out every day: "When will my life come back?"

Before the war, my dream was to succeed in my studies, travel, become a successful businessman, and become a professional skateboarder.

Now, all I want is to leave this country and practice skateboarding, live in safety, and support my family.

Despite everything, I didn't give up.
I started skateboarding again, and I came back stronger. Skateboarding isn't just a hobby—it's my freedom. It's the breath that keeps me alive.

My mother always tells us, "We are stronger than this... and we will overcome anything."

I'm asking you to donate to help me raise funds for my brother's treatment, support my mother and sister, and provide food, medicine, and safety.

Every dollar makes a difference.

From my heart, thank you to everyone who stands with us.
