Help Provide a Home for Diane Vallieu

Donation protected
For two and a half years, lifelong Mayfield resident Diane Vallieu and her daughter Betty have been living in a mobile home on their property with no running water.

A few years ago, Diane's home was lost to a fire, and since that tragedy, she has been unable to revive her home or her property back to livable conditions due to the financial burden it causes. The many expenses that go hand-in-hand with tearing down her house and hooking water/septic up have been a barrier Diane has not been able to overcome. She has financial obligations for her daughter's medical care - Diane's daughter, Betty, has severe epilepsy and requires surgeries and treatments to keep her healthy.

Currently, Diane has a trailer home at the back of her property that was donated to her by a state trooper from Fort Plain, and Betty had paid $1,600 to have the trailer transported to her property. Wonderful community members such as Kyle Kimball (who is doing the excavating), Rich Horton (who is doing the cement work), Miller's Concrete giving the materials at cost, Lou of Food and Fuel who is doing the gas line, and everyone who has donated thus far.

We need about $10,000 more to get Diane into her home, with running water, and we hope that this community will help her get there!
