Stop Unrestricted Cell Towers in Bayfield County

Over the recent months Josh and Esme of our beloved local and historic Turner Road Farm have been fighting hard to protect our community against unrestricted cell phone towers. With a current tower proposed to be built next to their farm, a tower that is non-compliant with county zoning and our county’s comprehensive plan their livelihood is at risk. As are our dark skies, various wildlife, and the very reasons we choose to live in a rural zone. This one tower demonstrates the fragility we all face and will face if our county approves the permits.

Lawyers have been hired and with the inaction of the County so far it is likely a lawsuit may be needed.

Fees are quickly accumulating for Josh and Esme who are also investing their energy into thorough research and constantly communicating with public officials. We all are benefiting from their hard work and investment because if we can stop this tower we can all be better protected going forward.
