Help Protect the Students of a Special-Needs School

Association Ibrahim Nassir Omais (AINO) is a school for students of special-needs located in Zrariyeh, Lebanon that is in need of donations. The school is looking to fill its classrooms with foam mats that are vital for ensuring the security of their students. These mats would significantly mitigate damage from potential falls or other unfortunate events. Foam mats also reduce the risk for slipping with with a textured and well-tractioned surface. That said, it would cost $1,100 to purchase 100 pieces of these mats for 8 classrooms, which is why we are looking to gather donations to carry out this important but costly acquisition. This addition would pay dividends to the students at AINO, and we would greatly appreciate it if you could help us get one step closer to making this proposal a reality.

This fundraiser is organized by the Hybrid Youth Access Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization aiming to increase access to recreational equipment and sports medicine awareness to youth communities in Lebanon and Nepal. The HYAF has partnered with AINO, and this summer, we delivered recreational equipment requested by the school and ran a summer camp over two weeks filled with soccer, basketball, and swimming activities, as well as important demonstrations of recovery and injury-prevention habits.
