Help Protect My Child: Legal Help Needed

My name is Jazlyn, & here is our story. My daughter is 4 years old, unfortunately on March 18th, 2025 she came to her father & I & disclosed to us that she had been S/A’d. You can’t imagine the devastation we felt. Our world as we know it fell apart. We took her to Driscoll, notified CPS, & the authorities. The investigation

is still ongoing (proof in pictures) We reached out to legal aide but they stated since I already had a hired attorney on the custody case for my kids (I got my children back from their grandmother & modified the court order between their dad & I so the children could reside at home with us from now on instead of their grandmother & Uncle) that they could not assist us. The lawyer informed us that we need 500 for a protective order against her perpetrator, & 500 for the court hearing, & another 500 for any paperwork that must be filed. I come to my community with humility & a broken heart & ask for help in helping to protect my daughter. Unfortunately, the judge has deemed that she can still be around her perpetrator as long as her & her brother are being supervised since the investigation is still ongoing. You can’t imagine my dismay & disappointment in the legal system. In the fact that the judge disregards the best interest of my children. We have done so much to keep things under wraps, however we held a benefit & barely skimmed the brink of what we need.

We’ve tried so hard to maintain financially, however since she opened up to us & told her story, we’ve had to miss work due to meetings & visits with CPS, Therapy, & just days where my baby feels sick to her stomach. I’m not trying to make my problems your own, however, I’m asking that we as a community come together for an innocent child, for her safety, her mental well being, & show her that although the legal system failed to protect her, we will NOT!!
