I’m reaching out to ask for your support for a beautiful two-mom family that we hold dear. They have two wonderful children—one just 2 years old, and the other just months old. As many of you know, raising kids comes with significant financial challenges, but for this family, their journey has been even more costly due to the need for reproductive care to create their family.

Now, they’re facing additional financial burdens. To ensure their parental rights are secure, they are in the process of legally adopting their respective non-biological children. This is something many LGBTQ+ families will be facing as they navigate a world where family rights are increasingly at risk. These legal fees are substantial, and it’s heartbreaking that, in this day and age, they have to spend money just to protect their family’s rights—a right many of us take for granted.
