In King County, many families are struggling to afford fresh, healthy food. The rising cost of living has made it harder than ever for people to keep their pantries full, and we want to help change that.

We started Project Refill with one simple goal: to refill plates and refill lives. We’re a youth-led effort focused on fighting food insecurity by bringing local farms, food banks, and community members together.

What We’re Doing and how your donations will be used -

We’re currently partnering with Jim Eichner, owner of FoodBank Farms, who donates over 300,000 pounds of produce each year to families in need. Recently, one of his greenhouses, which helps grow food year-round, was damaged.

Our team is raising $1,500 to help relocate and repair the greenhouse. Every dollar will go directly toward materials, soil, and equipment so the farm can keep producing fresh food for local families.

We’re also teaming up with the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank to organize community food drives with a goal of collecting 1,500 pounds of food by early 2026. Together, we want to make healthy food accessible for everyone, no matter their situation.
