Hi friends, family, and neighbors - Priscilla is a DC public school teacher who recently lost her home in northeast due to an unexpected fire. Thanks to local emergency services, everyone survived and we were able to locate her cat Cupcake a couple of days after (Thank you to the neighbors who reached out to me during the search! Cupcake is happy and well.). As a humble, strong and independent person, Priscilla would probably never seek financial support from her community through a GoFundMe. But, she lost everything and has spent weeks struggling to rebuild her life while still not in permanent housing and also continuing to work full time.
