I am collecting funds for a woman who is presently the primary caregiver for her disabled parents and son. They all have mobility issues and the youngest individual is autistic and nonverbal with high support needs.

Leading up to this fall, the caregiver will have some higher than expected legal expenses to ensure the continuity of care. The youngest individual for whom she is responsible has additional health expenses, and their house is in need of some repairs (7 people are living in it).

Any money you donate will go directly to legal expenses (contact me if you want more specifics as to what this is and why it is not covered by legal aid in Ontario), household expenses to maintain a positive and healthy environment (e.g., necessary repairs), and compensating other individuals to assist this selfless single mother.

This post is intentionally somewhat vague to protect the individuals' privacy and dignity, but if you're reading this, you're likely well aware of how expensive life can be for those who are disabled.
