Help prevent Chloe’s family from facing homelessness

Hello everyone,

Earlier this year, on April 21st, 2024, my grandmother passed away. Before she passed, she was found unresponsive in her home, and my dad was legally required to go to Puerto Rico to care for her and possibly bring her back to Florida, where my parents currently live. During this time, my father, sister, and I traveled to Puerto Rico to assist my grandmother and help my father decide on the next steps. My dad was also unemployed at the time, and our family has been struggling financially for a while. Since mid-April, my father has been stuck in Puerto Rico, unable to find a job or provide for his children at home. Food has been scarce, and I have been trying to help, but I cannot cover the missing rent payments since May 2024. As a result, my mother received a pay-or-eviction notice. In about 10 days, my mother and three younger brothers will be evicted and left homeless with nowhere to go.

I am asking from the depths of my heart for help to ensure my brothers continue to have a roof over their heads and a future ahead of them.
