Hi! My name is Preston Foust, and I’ve been a proud member of Troop 1001 for about six years. I am currently working toward earning my Eagle Scout rank, and for my Eagle project, I’m raising $2,000 to help the Active Learners (special education students) at Brent field Elementary School .
My project involves designing and leading Scouts in building a double-sided, mobile sensory wall made from sturdy, varnished wood with locking wheels for safety and easy movement.
• One wall will feature a magnetic whiteboard and interactive sensory panels with textures, mirrors, and lights.
• The other wall will include pegboards, movable parts, and hands-on sensory components like gears, bells, beads, and light-up features.
• There will also be a space for students to draw, color, and create using large Post-it sheets.
This project will give the Active Learners a safe, engaging, and sensory-friendly way to learn and play hands-on every day.
Your donation will go directly toward the cost of wood, hardware, materials, and supplies needed to make this project possible. Any amount helps and brings me one step closer to finishing my Eagle Scout journey while making a lasting impact for these students.
Thank you for your support!
